ΔΔΔ This envelope painting and collage from Guido are part of one amazing mailing I received a few months ago. It included a saddle-stitched xerographic book of his collages. I began documenting some book pages but before I completed the task, I loaned it out for the Art in Transit exhibition, where it was prominently displayed in a glass case. Now I have the stuff back, but haven’t gotten to fish the book out to complete the job. He titles every envelope painting; I can’t supply you with any titles at this time.

ΔΔΔ This is hilarious, in my opinion.

Wow! Great mail ! Thank you for posting my art ! Jane
Well, I feel I should apologize for being so late in posting. I have a pretty thick stack of mail on my desk that I’ve neglected for a while, both in documenting as well as answering. This is a lot of it, but not all. My time was really in demand the last few months. I wear a lot of different hats: graphic artist, librarian, visual artist, volunteer, wife lady, kitty mommy. I usually manage pretty well, but the unexpected end of the year exhibitions and extra special projects really threw me for a loop the last few months.
These are fantastic! I just love the idea of posting art – it must be so great to receive these..
It *is* pretty great, I’ll admit. However, to receive mail, you have to also send mail. It’s just courtesy, you know? I answer all the mail I get, but at the moment, I have quite a bit to make and return, as you can see from the last few posts.
